3. 500 Days of Summer is  a romance because it has the boy meets girl aspect and boy and girl fall in love. Although in the end they don’t live happily ever after you know its a romance because you follow the main character’s relationship from the beginning to its end. All romantic movies you have to characters who fall in love and you watch their relationship as it happens.
