What is writing?

Writing is a form of communication. People talk to each other through writing whether its by email, a letter or a text. People write down what needs to be said what they can’t say personally. This could be in a professional sense but also a sentimental sense. People send there lovers love letters what they can’t thoroughly express through speaking. Writing is also a way of expressing yourself. Novels are a way that many people express themselves and show the world their creativity. I’m sure there are many people who wrote a book and never got it published because they did it for there personal enjoyment.

What are the major concepts of the course?What kind of questions did we confront?

A major concept of the course is the mediums on which writing is displayed. Earlier in the year we we were told to write a handwritten letter to someone and explain how that was different from writing it electronically.

What questions do you have? What did the course leave out?

I didn’t know what to expect coming into the class so I can’t really say that I have any questions or that we left out anything because I had no expectations. I guess from previous English classes even the one I took in college, I expected us to read a book of some sort and analyze it. We never read any books or anything like that. We did analyze different texts but they weren’t like anything Ive done beofre
